Head of Infrastructure
- Management of the Infrastructure department with six caretakers and twenty cleaners at the Buchs and Sargans locations. Ensuring orderly operations and responsible for financial planning and cost control in the area
- Planning, accompanying, and monitoring regular, professional maintenance work within the defined budget
- Co-designing and developing the infrastructure, partly in collaboration with the cantonal building authority. Managing own smaller renovation and procurement projects including cost control
- Responsible for the management of room usage by external parties
- Performing duties as the officer responsible for structural safety
- Responsible for the training of own apprentices in operational maintenance
- Technical/craft basic training with a Federal VET Diploma and many years of professional experience in technical maintenance
- Training as a federal caretaker with a federal certificate, ideally supplemented by further training as a Facility Management Manager or Head Caretaker HFP
- Proven leadership experience
- High service orientation, networked thinking, confident appearance, resilient and flexible
- Good IT user skills, especially Microsoft programmes (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft 365/Teams)
- Varied and responsible activity with opportunities for design
