For our Weighing & Instrument Components (MTWIC) division, which is responsible for the industrialisation and production of laboratory scales and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, terminals, MFR force sensors, and circuit boards for the entire MT group, we are seeking a motivated person at the Nänikon/Greifensee site, the global operational headquarters of METTLER TOLEDO, as an Occupational Safety Officer 80 - 100% (all genders). In this role, you will undertake the following tasks: Monitoring and implementation of safety guidelines and legal regulations in an industrial production environment; actively promoting the safety culture through training and awareness campaigns; advising and training managers and employees in the planning, coordination, and implementation of all health and safety-related activities; conducting accident investigations, analysing accident statistics, identifying causes, and developing targeted prevention measures; organising, accompanying, and conducting internal audits as well as inspections on occupational safety-related topics; preparing thorough risk analyses for workplaces, equipment, and hazardous substances – taking into account current legal requirements; hazard management (triage of reported unsafe situations, ensuring the implementation of sustainable measures); maintaining safety-relevant documentation with care and systematics; in cooperation with chemical contact persons: ensuring storage conditions and the correct handling of hazardous substances.
