You can contribute to this role

• Lead and organise the operation of defence and logistics infrastructures as well as manage the subordinate personnel
• Plan and ensure the provision, operation and maintenance of the infrastructures and guarantee coordination with the troops, users and partners
• Control operational and maintenance services, resource deployment and expenses while ensuring their effectiveness and cost-efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations as well as regulations on personal protection, occupational safety and environmental protection
• Actively participate in construction, conversion and liquidation projects, represent the interests of the operator side and ensure coordination with the various parties involved

What makes you unique

• Technical or craft vocational training, ideally supplemented by higher education (university or equivalent); Swiss federal certificate as a maintenance specialist or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of infrastructures as well as in personnel management
• Strong leadership skills, organisational and sense of responsibility, goal and result orientation as well as good communication, cooperation and conflict management skills
• Good knowledge of process and project management, proficient use of common IT applications and SAP, as well as good knowledge of a second official language
• A military training as an officer or senior non-commissioned officer is an advantage
