For one of our clients, a leading hospital establishment located in the Lausanne region, we are recruiting Socio-educational Assistants (ASE) and Educators for short and long-term temporary assignments within psychiatric services.
ASE & Educator (M/F) Hospital Environment on Temporary Assignments
Your mission
Within multidisciplinary teams, you actively participate in supporting adult patients with mental disorders. You contribute to their well-being, maintaining their achievements and developing their autonomy in respect of their care plan.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support patients in daily life activities.
- Promote autonomy, reintegration and maintenance of social skills.
- Lead and supervise educational, therapeutic and occupational activities.
- Ensure close presence and establish a relationship of trust with patients.
- Participate in managing and preventing crisis situations.
- Observe the evolution of patients' mental state and relay relevant information to the care team.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, doctors, psychologists and other health professionals.
Your profile
For ASE
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as Socio-educational Assistant (ASE) or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience in psychiatry or mental health.
For Educators
- Diploma as a specialised Educator, HES or equivalent recognised in Switzerland.
- Experience with adults presenting mental disorders or in psychiatric settings.
Required skills
- Minimum 2 years professional experience supporting people in psychiatry or institutional settings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and listening ability.
- Ability to manage complex situations calmly and professionally.
- Team spirit and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
