Do you want to make a difference with your work and are looking for a meaningful role? Then this position could be just right for you. At the Office for Labour (AFA), you will work to ensure that the labour market in the Canton of Zurich remains fair, efficient, and sustainable – together with around 800 colleagues at over 20 locations.
Due to the expansion of our team, we are looking for reinforcement. You can join our team immediately or by arrangement.

Your Tasks
- You independently prepare decisions on objections, clarify legal questions, and obtain all relevant documents
- You gather information from regional employment centres, unemployment insurance funds, employers, and other agencies
- You draft statements for the Social Insurance Court of the Canton of Zurich
- Additionally, you support the review of sanction reports and the preparation of employment orders as needed

Your Profile
- A three-year commercial apprenticeship and experience in case processing in social insurance or written case processing
- Further training as a social insurance specialist or another equivalent qualification (or you are about to complete it)
- Very good MS Office skills, precise expression, and enjoyment of writing
- Logical-analytical thinking and efficient working methods
- Confident handling of various stakeholders
