The Bostadel Correctional Facility is an independent public-law institution within the concordat of Northwestern and Central Switzerland with its own legal personality. It is operated by the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Zug and has 108 places in regular imprisonment and 12 places in a security unit. Around 90 employees work at the Bostadel Correctional Facility, ensuring security within the institution and contributing to the meaningful occupation and resocialisation of the 120 inmates.

Registered Nurse HF (40-60%)

Health Service in the Correctional System

• Medical care of the inmates
• Daily medication administration including assessment of general condition
• Assistance in medical consultations (general practitioner, psychiatry, and dentistry)
• Organisation and administration of the health service
• Management of the facility pharmacy
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external specialists
• First aid in medical and psychiatric emergencies
• Participation in the further development of quality management

What you bring – the requirements

• Qualified nurse HF, DNII, PsyKP, AKP
• Healthy boundaries and good assertiveness
• Decision-making and action capability in the field
• Impeccable reputation
• Several years of professional experience as well as a resilient and responsible personality.
