Material Manager / Operational Buyer (m/f/d)
You are familiar with the challenges of the polymer processing industry? Our Rocken partner specialises in distribution and material solutions related to plastics. From prime polymers to recyclates and customised compounds – the portfolio covers diverse requirements. The scope of activities includes procurement, consulting and tailored services along the entire value chain. Customers are supported in material selection and assisted through laboratory services and digital tools. Short decision-making paths and practical collaboration characterise the daily work. - Creation of delivery schedule calls and call-offs on quantity/value contracts
- Transmission of call-offs to suppliers as well as obtaining and entering order confirmations
- Coordination and monitoring of delivery dates
- Initiation of appropriate countermeasures to secure delivery dates in case of delays
- Supplier monitoring with direct supplier contact regarding logistical process optimisations
- Ensuring material availability for production
- Optimisation of order quantities and safety stocks
- Processing procurement proposals
- Supplier management
- Development of logistics concepts
Qualifications:
- Commercial or technical training, further education in SCM advantageous
- Experience in purchasing and supply chain
- Dynamic and flexible team player
- Fluent language skills in German and English
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules MM/PP
