We are looking for an intern for our Space and Environment department in Bern for 4 to 6 months in the field of environment with a focus on flora and habitats, 80-100% (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities

• Participation in exciting and varied projects such as environmental impact assessments, environmental construction supervision and soil-related construction supervision, various expert reports (noise, soil, flora, fauna, building pollutants, contaminated sites, geology, etc.)

• Support in fieldwork in the areas of flora, fauna, habitats (habitat classification according to Delarze et al.)

• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams within the CSD network

Your profile

• Studies in environmental or spatial planning, environmental natural sciences, geography (ETH, university of applied sciences or university)

• Good knowledge of flora (400-level certificate or higher) and knowledge of Swiss habitats.

• Basic knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS, Field Maps) is an advantage

• You can express yourself fluently in written and spoken German

• Ideally, you have knowledge of a second official language

• Reliability, independence and commitment characterise you
