Your Tasks
You develop the strategic procurement of construction and planning services into a central value-adding function and ensure professional contract management. Together with our client representatives, you accompany the project teams throughout the entire tendering process, create market transparency, and ensure systematic, market-appropriate, and legally compliant procurement under the best possible conditions. You ensure compliance with procurement standards and conduct price and final negotiations for significant awards.
- Development and further advancement of company-wide procurement for construction and planning services as well as definition and assurance of uniform standards, templates, and processes
- Support of client representatives and project teams during tenders, bid evaluations, award recommendations, and economic procurement decisions
- Creation, review, coordination, and structured filing of planner, contractor, framework, and contracting contracts as well as development and negotiation of company-wide framework and purchasing agreements
- Procurement market research, market price analyses, benchmarks, and plausibility checks to ensure consistent competition among contractors and planners
- Leading or supporting price, contract, and final negotiations for strategically important awards
- Advising client representatives on contractual issues as well as identifying and assessing contractual opportunities and risks
- Building and maintaining an efficient network of contractors, planners, and suppliers
- Introduction of key figures and tools for success measurement as well as continuous identification and realisation of savings and optimisation potentials
Your Profile
- Further education at HF/CAS level in construction management or comparable
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement, awarding and/or contract management, preferably in construction and planning services
- Sound knowledge of SIA standards
- Profound understanding of construction costs, work contracts, and awarding processes
- Proven success in price and contract negotiations as well as strong cost awareness
- High communication skills, social competence, and enjoyment in collaborating with internal project teams
- High commitment and dedication to demanding tasks
- Assertiveness, persistence, and negotiation skills combined with strong team orientation
