The Spittelhof in Biel-Benken offers 13 adult women and men of all ages with psychological and/or cognitive impairments a short- or long-term home. A day structure as well as 18 adapted workplaces are available to both internally and externally residing employees. Life at Spittelhof is characterised by the rural environment in a special living atmosphere.
Your Role
You accompany employees with psychological and/or cognitive impairments in supported work and assist them with agricultural and horticultural activities. With joy, expertise and an open eye for individual strengths, you jointly create a meaningful and well-structured work and daily routine with the participants. An important part of your task is being the key contact person for several participants. You share responsibility for the production and sale of the farm’s own products and continuously develop the agricultural work offering. Your duties also include the maintenance and care of tools, machines and infrastructure. Additionally, you take on the necessary documentation and administrative tasks.
Your Profile
- Completed training as a work agogist
- Completed vocational training (EFZ), ideally in the agricultural or horticultural sector
- Expert knowledge and practical experience in horticulture, agriculture, animal care or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in working with people with impairments
- Enjoyment of practical, physical and varied work outdoors
- Empathetic personality
- Driving licence category B or BE
