Finance Manager Operations 80% - 100% (m/f/d)

Workplace: Oberburg BE | regular presence in Benken SG, at least 2 days every two weeks

Your Challenge

You take on a central role in the financial management of our two production sites with a focus on Oberburg and support the plant managers as well as the COO in business management issues.

• Economic assessment of investments, infrastructure, contracts and payment terms with the resulting identification and monitoring of cost and efficiency potentials together with the plant manager and COO
• Ensuring transparent site management as well as highlighting financial risks and need for action
• Maintenance, updating and validation of standard costs including analysis of material, quantity, price, consumption and efficiency variances
• Preparation and coordination of budget, forecast and monthly reporting for Oberburg and Benken
• Collaboration with production, purchasing, supply chain, technical and the central finance team. You report to the Head of Controlling in Benken/SG.

Your Qualifications

• Advanced business education HF/FH with a focus on finance or controlling
• Several years of professional experience in production controlling of a manufacturing company in the food industry, ideally in a production environment with high quantities.
• Very good knowledge of cost and standard cost accounting as well as essential experience in maintaining, updating and analysing standard costs.
• Very good ERP knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), Excel and BI skills.
