The company Investissements Fonciers SA (IFSA), based in Lausanne ( www.lafonciere.ch ), is a real estate fund management company active for over 70 years. It currently manages two funds with complementary strategies: La Foncière, a listed real estate fund mainly invested in residential properties in French-speaking Switzerland, and La Foncière Urban Development L-QIF, dedicated to the development of residential and mixed-use real estate projects and aimed at qualified investors.

As part of its development, IFSA now offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and committed team within a stimulating professional environment, as an Assistant Compliance, Risk and Finance at 80-100%.
Directly reporting to the Head of Legal, Compliance, Risk and General Secretary, you provide support in legal, regulatory, risk management and internal control activities. In close collaboration with the CFO, you also participate in the financial activities of the company and the real estate funds.
The position offers a versatile and evolving role, with an indicative split of 50% on Finance and 50% on Compliance & Risk areas.
Your main responsibilities
Finance
- Participate in accounting, management control and treasury activities.
- Contribute to monitoring financing and mortgage loans.
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports as well as annual and semi-annual closings.
- Collaborate with auditors and various external partners.
- Participate in monitoring financial aspects related to insurance and taxation.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure legal and regulatory monitoring in areas relevant to the activity.
- Provide support in monitoring regulatory requirements applicable to real estate funds.
- Participate in monitoring fund documentation, conflicts of interest and various compliance obligations.
- Collaborate with notaries, property management companies, auditors, legal advisors and other external partners.
- Participate in the identification, evaluation and monitoring of risks.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the internal control system.
- Perform and document controls planned within the internal control framework.
The role is expected to evolve progressively, notably to ensure continuity of activities and strengthen internal skills in Compliance, Risk and Finance areas.
Your profile
- Higher education in law, finance, business economics or a similar field.
- Proven professional experience in a role ideally combining financial, legal and/or regulatory aspects.
- Experience in real estate, collective investments or a regulated environment is a significant asset.
- Good knowledge of the FINMA / LPCC / OPCC regulatory environment.
- Additional training in Compliance, Risk Management or LPCC is an advantage.
- Excellent command of French; good knowledge of German is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, rigor and sense of responsibility.
- Autonomy, discretion, collaborative spirit and ease in a demanding and versatile environment.
