Welcome to the Wangen School!
The Wangen School includes the municipalities of Walliswil bei Niederbipp, Walliswil bei Wangen, the district of Wangenried, and the school complex Wangen an der Aare in Oberaargau. It encompasses all educational offerings of the Bern canton public school, from the two-year kindergarten to the school leaving at the end of 9th grade. In all three cycles, students are integratively supported through special education care. Around 400 children and young people as well as 60 teachers can access a progressive infrastructure. Joint planning and development of teaching at all levels are the focus of our modern school.

Tasks
- Class teacher of a 1st/2nd multi-grade class with about 15 students
- Teaching regular class lessons negotiable according to the position table
- Collaboration in the team, in the cycle group, in the entire faculty, and at school events
- Taking on additional tasks (e.g., cycle leadership, steering group) with corresponding employment desired
Wishes regarding workload, subjects, and working days can be considered after consultation.
Requirements
You have a degree as a primary school teacher, are in training for it, or intend to start it. Ideally, you bring first teaching experience or have another pedagogical background. You are interested in the life world of your learners, show willingness to collaborate in the team, and are open to active participation in school development.
We Offer
Permanent employment with 16 - 21 lessons of teaching, plus the function as class teacher. The subject distribution can be defined within the class team.
