About the job
At Wallisellen School, around 1,700 children and young people are taught by about 220 teachers in six school facilities and various decentralized kindergartens. Part of this is the Mösli Primary School
The long-established QUIMS school includes eight middle school, seven lower school, and five kindergarten classes. A dedicated and well-mixed team is guided by common principles, embraces diversity, and implements the school prevention program Denk-Wege.
To complement our approximately 60 employees, we are immediately looking for a school assistant for deployment in kindergarten and a 4th grade class, working Monday morning, Wednesday morning, and all day Thursday. The approximately 25% position is limited until the end of the school year.
Your main tasks
- Supporting teachers during lessons
- Accompanying students in small groups and supporting children with special needs
- Supervision and care
- Participation in class and school events
You bring with you
- Very good German skills (native speaker preferred)
- Preferably professional experience in childcare or similar
- Joy and commitment in working with children and teachers
- Flexibility and composure in demanding situations
