Main goal of the position:
In this varied role, you are responsible for the further development of the cloud business and customer acquisition. You use professional sales techniques, including strategic business planning, comprehensive customer profiling, daily pipeline management, and closing techniques to advance our cloud business.
Your challenge:
- Customer acquisition in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Building, expanding, and further developing customer relationships in the cloud sector as well as problem-solving skills
- Good relationship management (customers, field sales team, other important contacts); expanding the customer base and tapping into new business opportunities
- Identification and development of cloud business opportunities, in potentially new market segments as well as relevant cloud providers (including onboarding, creation of business development plans, and independent, professional support)
- Close collaboration with our internal interfaces and specialists, as well as customers
- Advising our customers in the area of Modern Workplace, especially with our leading products such as Microsoft 365, Business Premium, and CoPilot
- Technical support in the development and implementation of complex products, applications, and solutions
Your profile:
- Completed apprenticeship (commercial clerk/information technology/media technician) with further education in business administration and/or sales/marketing
- Several years of relevant professional experience as well as good market knowledge in the IT industry
- Good knowledge of IT/cloud technologies and architectures is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in the area of complex processes in the tension field manufacturer/distributor/business partner/end customer
- Consulting competence for IT solutions (farmer and business development competence for new business areas (hunting))
- Very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and convincing personality with a friendly and competent appearance
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, presentations, training, and trade fairs
- Strong presentation skills, customer orientation, and communication strength
