Senior Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

• You develop technical concepts, analyses, and expert opinions around modern IT architectures and IT systems.
• You plan, configure, and implement complex LAN, WLAN, and network security solutions.
• You continuously maintain, service, and develop network infrastructures based on Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
• You independently analyse and resolve faults within the scope of 2nd and 3rd level support and take on on-call duties.
• You create, maintain, and manage technical customer documentation.
• You support consulting and sales in solution design and technical effort estimation.
• You advise and train customers on solutions, best practices, and current technologies in the network and security environment.

• Higher vocational training in computer science or equivalent education.
• Several years of experience in engineering and operating network and security infrastructures.
• Experience in developing and implementing automation solutions in the network and security environment.
• Sound knowledge in routing, switching, WLAN, firewalling, and network security.
• Professional-level certification from one or more manufacturers such as Cisco (CCNP), Aruba (ACP/ACMP), Juniper (JNCIP), Fortinet (NSE/FCP), or Palo Alto (PCNSE).
• Experience dealing with complex customer environments as well as a solution- and customer-oriented working style.
• Very good German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Independent, structured working style and enjoyment of teamwork.
