Your tasks
In this versatile role, you will manage both our internal IT landscape and the practical system technology for our customer solutions:

Cybersecurity & system hardening: Managing firewalls, patch management, endpoint protection and access controls; collaborating with software development to comply with modern security standards.
Support to engineering: Assisting the solution engineering team with configuration, installation, troubleshooting and testing of stationary and mobile systems, both in the lab and on site at the customer.
Asset & licence management: Managing hardware inventory, licences and peripheral device programming (e.g. hardware dongles).
Documentation & support: Creating and updating system documentation, instructions and tools for test optimisation as well as system support for internal users.
Your profile
Education: Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, system engineer, cyber security specialist or comparable qualification (HF/FH).
Experience: At least 2–3 years of professional experience in system administration, network technology or system integration.
System & network knowledge: Sound knowledge of Windows and Linux environments as well as a deep understanding of IP network concepts (routing, switching, VLAN, DNS/DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
Scripting & tools: Knowledge of Bash scripting or Python for automation; basic knowledge of C/C++ is an advantage.
Practical skills: Manual dexterity for the assembly and commissioning of test and measurement systems.
Languages: Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills in spoken and written form. French skills are a plus.
Personality: Quality-oriented, independent working style, security awareness and enjoyment of teamwork.
Bonus: Experience with agent-based AI applications (e.g. AI agents for automating IT and test processes) as well as basic knowledge of radio technology (e.g. amateur radio licence) are advantageous.
