Role:
As a Cloud Engineer Microsoft Azure, you take Microsoft projects from the idea stage to stable operation. The focus is on Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure, combined with networking and telephony. Every client brings a different starting point. Therefore, your technical judgement is just as important as your sense for pragmatic solutions. Here you work independently and see directly the impact of your work.
Responsibilities:
You clarify your clients’ needs and develop viable technical concepts from them
You are responsible for building and expanding infrastructures in the cloud, on-site, or in a hybrid model
Furthermore, you implement telephony solutions based on Microsoft Teams and keep them running
You configure firewalls, switches, and WLAN and manage the network environment during ongoing operations
In demanding support cases at 2nd and 3rd level, you pitch in and find the cause
Additionally, you support Microsoft projects operationally and act as the technical contact person for clients
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as a system technician or in a comparable engineering role distinguish you
You are familiar with Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams from project work and administer them confidently
Identity, networking, and compute in Azure are familiar to you, as is the operation of Azure Virtual Desktop
Furthermore, you have solid know-how in routing, VPN, WLAN, and switching
You like taking responsibility, work methodically, and approach clients openly
You also score with experience in cloud telephony or classic telephone systems, certifications from Microsoft or the networking field, as well as project experience in an SME environment
