Anyone who wants to ensure security in a complex IT and OT landscape will find a role with real scope for creativity as a Security Infrastructure Engineer. From vulnerability analysis to incident response, the technical responsibility lies in your hands. Cloud platforms such as Azure are as familiar to you as classic on-premises systems. You implement new regulatory requirements practically into concrete technical measures.
Responsibilities:
You establish a structured vulnerability management system and are responsible for scans, evaluation, and prioritisation of measures
You further develop and technically implement hardening concepts for servers and clients in IT and OT
You manage security solutions such as SIEM, XDR, or PAM in ongoing operations and coordinate external partners
You actively participate in the analysis and handling of security-relevant incidents
Additionally, you contribute to the setup and operation of platform services, such as virtualisation solutions and Microsoft 365 (M365) services
Furthermore, you lead or support security projects and drive technical optimisations in the security environment
Qualifications:
A degree in computer science or a comparable background forms your professional basis
You already have practical experience or training in IT security
You are familiar with cloud environments and project-based work
You have successfully used systems such as vSphere, Azure, and Microsoft Defender
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server as well as AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO rounds off your profile
In addition, you are characterised by initiative, resilience, and an open, communicative manner that fits well in interdisciplinary teams
