Foreign Trade Specialist in Internal Sales (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to apply your experience in international goods traffic and take on responsibility? As a foreign trade specialist in internal sales, you are responsible for the reliable handling of cross-border customer orders. You coordinate international goods deliveries, liaise with various business partners, and support the further development of existing processes.
Responsibilities:
You accompany international customer orders from quotation to invoicing and ensure reliable processing.
You take care of the preparation and control of all documents for cross-border goods traffic.
You organise worldwide goods transport and coordinate the handling with external logistics service providers.
You ensure the correct implementation of legal requirements in international trade and customs matters.
You keep track of ongoing orders, outstanding offers, and agreed delivery deadlines.
You support customers, business partners, and internal departments with questions regarding international deliveries and trade formalities.
You identify opportunities for improvement in existing export processes and contribute your expertise to their further development.
Qualifications:
You have completed commercial training with further education as a foreign trade specialist with a federal diploma or a comparable qualification.
You bring solid professional experience in export and/or foreign trade and are familiar with the corresponding business processes.
You have good knowledge of international shipping procedures as well as the required customs and export documents.
You communicate very well in German and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
You are familiar with ERP applications and common MS Office programmes.
You convince through personal responsibility, a structured and careful working style, as well as strong customer orientation and enjoy working with various contacts.
