About the job

• Leadership and strategic development of the EHS organisation at the Balzers site
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations as well as internal EHS standards
• Responsibility for the effectiveness, further development and successful auditing of management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Conducting safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Analysis and control of EHS key figures as well as implementation of sustainable improvement measures
• Coaching and advising managers on EHS-related issues
• Management of EHS projects and EHS initiatives
• Promotion of a lived safety culture based on the principle "Safety Always"
• Exchange and implementation of best practices within the Umicore group
