To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated individual as Finance & HR Manager who contributes with care, responsibility, and foresight to continuously ensure and further develop our high standards.

Your tasks

Finance – about 60%

• You manage the entire accounting: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment transactions, dunning
• You handle payroll accounting and take care of social security and withholding tax
• You prepare VAT returns and monthly financial statements
• Depending on experience, you either prepare the annual financial statements yourself or collaborate with our fiduciary
• You support management with budgeting, liquidity planning, and reporting
• You oversee insurance matters and cases with accident and daily sickness allowance insurers

HR – about 40%

• You are responsible for our recruitment process – advertisements, pre-selection, interviews, references
• You recruit permanent employees as well as our temporary staff
• You conduct structured initial interviews following a procedure we provide; the hiring decision is made jointly with management
• You prepare contracts and references and maintain personnel files
• You handle permits, registration procedures, and job notification obligations
• You organise onboarding and trial days and are the contact person for our employees

So you know what you’re getting into: We currently fill around ten positions per year, including temporary roles. This is not a recruitment workload like in a large company. Instead, you accompany each appointment from start to finish – and then see the people again in production.

What you bring

Must-have:

• Commercial training and several years of experience in financial accounting
• Confident payroll accounting including social security and withholding tax
• Experience recruiting production personnel, ideally in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, medical technology, or food
• Willingness to work according to a structured interview procedure and assess candidates based on proven performance
• German at native level, English at conversational level

Nice-to-have:

• Federal diploma in finance and accounting and/or HR diploma
• Experience with permit matters, cross-border commuters, and job notification obligations
• Knowledge of a GMP-regulated environment
• Confident use of bexio and kontera
