System Engineer Citrix (m/f/d)
Role:
An experienced System Engineer specialising in Citrix is sought for the operation and further development of an extensive IT infrastructure. You will manage virtual desktop and application environments and contribute to the further development of existing systems as well as the introduction of new solutions.
In addition to migrations and smaller projects, your responsibilities include technical fault analysis, documentation, and support at a higher support level.
Responsibilities:
Operate and further develop Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops as well as virtual desktop infrastructures
Expand existing system landscapes and integrate new software solutions
Carry out migrations and implement smaller technical projects
Create technical concepts and system overviews as well as maintain documentation
Analyse faults and handle tickets in 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or comparable qualification
Several years of experience with Citrix environments, especially VDI and Microsoft technologies
Sound knowledge of Citrix NetScaler ADC, including load balancing, SSL offloading, gateway, and authentication
Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and ideally with migrations to Citrix DaaS and Citrix Cloud
Good knowledge of Windows environments, especially Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, group policies, and PowerShell
Very good German skills, good English skills, and an independent and quality-conscious working style
