Teacher for Religious Studies

The Bündner Cantonal School is an important educational institution with around 1,000 students of all three cantonal languages. As a department of the Office for Higher Education, it offers secondary school programs at the long and short-term gymnasium as well as at the specialized, commercial, and computer science secondary schools. As a Teacher for Religious Studies, you will teach students at the lower gymnasium level.
We are looking for a teacher for Religious Studies for our school starting August 1, 2026.
- Teaching the basic subject of Religion at the lower gymnasium. The subject does not include confessional religious instruction but addresses the historical development of religions and their function for societies, groups, and individuals
- Organization and implementation of project weeks, class events, and excursions in a team with other teachers
- Taking on various tasks within the department
- Participation in development projects of the entire school
- Completed university degree in the teaching subject Religious Studies as well as a teaching diploma for Matura schools
- Teaching experience at the secondary level II and a qualification in another subject are advantageous
- Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented personality who enjoys working with young people. We also expect a communicative person who takes responsibility and is happy to engage in school life
- As a teacher at the trilingual school, knowledge of additional cantonal languages completes your profile
