AWS Solution Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Thoughtfully build cloud architectures
You design scalable AWS solutions and specifically develop existing cloud architectures further.
You shape AWS Organisations and multi-account environments with a focus on foundation, security, as well as network & connectivity.
You analyse existing application landscapes and plan suitable paths for migration to the AWS cloud.
Improve automation and operations
You develop reusable infrastructure components with Terraform and consistently apply infrastructure-as-code principles.
You integrate automated provisioning and deployment processes via CI/CD.
You optimise existing cloud environments and contribute to the further development of AWS-based managed services.
Advise customers and manage projects
You translate customer requirements into concrete architecture and solution concepts and present your proposals clearly.
You support the sales organisation with technical evaluations, solution descriptions, and offers.
You take on leadership or sub-project leadership and coordinate customers, internal engineering teams, and other project participants.
Qualifications:
Cloud expertise
You have completed a technical degree or have an equivalent professional qualification.
You bring professional experience in the cloud sector.
You have solid knowledge of AWS architecture and practical experience with application migrations.
You master Terraform and have already automated the provisioning and further development of cloud infrastructures.
You hold an active certification as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.
You are confident with scripting and REST APIs.
Ideally, you have additional certifications in AWS Security or Advanced Networking.

You analyse requirements carefully and develop precise, implementable solutions.
You take responsibility, work independently, and keep quality and customer benefit in mind.
You are flexible, helpful, and enjoy communicating with technical and non-technical contacts.
You have fluent German skills and very good specialised English skills.
