The Electrical group within the Technical Service ensures the safe and reliable operation of a state-of-the-art research infrastructure. Our electrical systems range from classic building technology installations to sophisticated research and special installations. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed leader who combines solid electrical expertise with enthusiasm for leadership, training, and hands-on work. The role includes both leadership responsibility and active participation in complex technical systems.
Your Tasks
- Technical and personnel leadership of the Electrical group as well as promotion and development of employees and apprentices
- Responsibility for the safe, economical, and trouble-free operation of the electrical infrastructure
- Active participation in demanding installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance work
- Planning and implementation of maintenance, repair, and optimisation measures
- Ensuring availability and operational safety of high and low voltage systems as well as other electrical systems
- Support of infrastructure and electrical projects and contribution of optimisation proposals
- Responsibility for the training of our electrical installer apprentices EFZ
- Participation in on-call duty according to deployment planning
Your Profile
- Training as an electrical installer EFZ with further education in electrical project management or a comparable qualification
- Trainer course advantageous
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in the electrical field
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems, standards and regulations (NIV, NIN, ESTI, SUVA etc.)
- Experience in operation and maintenance of medium and low voltage systems
- Enjoyment in leading employees as well as training apprentices
- Structured, solution-oriented and responsible working style
- Hands-on mentality and pleasure in being technically active yourself
