As Syntegon Technology Services AG in Beringen, we are the central service centre of the Syntegon Group. Our expert teams with around 200 employees ensure maximum availability and performance of our plants and systems worldwide - from inspection and maintenance to rapid spare parts supply and process optimisation.

In this position, you are responsible for the holistic management of our application environments. These include areas from software development (automation) as well as version control. Typical examples would be Rockwell Automation, Copadata Zenon, Beckhoff TwinCAT or Perforce Helix Core.

• You ensure a stable, efficient, and user-friendly operation of the applications by regularly applying and rolling out updates and patches. This also includes creating and maintaining documentation.
• Additionally, you act as a competent contact person in the global 2nd-level support and work closely with internal departments, IT, as well as external partners and service providers.
• You analyse requirements, develop technical solutions, and independently implement changes and optimisations to advance the digitalisation and efficiency of engineering processes.
• In license management, you record requirements and derive strategic measures to optimise license usage and administration.
• Last but not least, you support a global key-user structure and establish common processes.

• You have a degree in computer science, electrical and automation engineering, or a similar field. Alternatively, you bring a comparable vocational training with relevant practical experience.
• You have experience in supporting and administering software applications, ideally in a technical or engineering environment.
• Sound knowledge in Windows operating systems, network technology, and virtualisation.
• Confident handling of version control systems (e.g. Git), fault analysis, troubleshooting, and end-user support - both in person and remotely.
• Solid knowledge in software distribution and automation, especially with PowerShell (Intune).
• You bring strong analytical skills as well as very good German and English language skills.
• Your communication skills and a structured working style with a high service orientation distinguish you.
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
