Urban Planning Specialist

m/f/d ¦ 60 - 70 % ¦ Entry by arrangement

As a specialist, you actively shape the spatial and urban development of Kriens. Your versatile area of responsibility ranges from the ongoing local planning revision to site developments and construction projects at urbanistically significant locations.

Your tasks

• Independent execution and support of planning procedures
• Coordination of internal and external specialist offices as well as various stakeholders
• Representation of the interests of the city of Kriens in exchange with builders and landowners
• Preparation of statements, decision-making bases, reports and applications for political bodies
• Handling spatial planning issues within the framework of the local planning revision and special use planning

Your profile

• Degree in spatial planning, architecture, geography or a comparable field
• Professional experience in zoning, spatial development and urban planning
• Experience and enjoyment in coordinating and leading projects
• Structured and independent working style as well as conceptual thinking
• Strong communication skills and confident German
• Understanding of planning law, social-spatial, ecological and economic contexts
• Sense for political processes and procedures in a public administration
