About the job
Assessment Specialist, Focus on Minors (70% - 100%)
A job as varied as life itself.
In this role, you do not deal with impersonal "disability insurance cases" but with young people and their individual stories and performance requirements. You are often on the move because you visit our minor clients at home. In conversations with them and their parents or guardians, you form a well-founded judgement about their situation. If necessary, you contact medical or legal authorities and carry out additional assessments. You record your findings in coherent reports and issue decisions within the framework of legal conditions.
You are communicative and enjoy working independently.
You have a basic medical education with commercial professional experience in the social, medical, or health sector. Commercial further training or professional experience in social insurance is an advantage. You are interested in people and approach them openly. In conversation, you are empathetic without being overwhelmed by difficult fates. You respond to unexpected situations with a clear head and good arguments. You enjoy writing confidently and appreciate being able to plan and organise your work independently.
We offer you a lot.
The SVA Zurich is the competence centre for social insurance. It is one of the top employers in the canton and is within walking distance of Zurich main station. There are good reasons why our more than 1000 employees are above-average satisfied: a meaningful activity, good social benefits, and an appreciative informal culture. In addition, we offer attractive opportunities for professional development – for example, within this job in the area of child hospice and adult assessment. Sounds interesting? Welcome to us!
