It operates a hospital and an affiliated nursing center each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees offer elderly people a regionally unique comprehensive care from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. What to expect:

As a Health Specialist EFZ, you support elderly people on their way back to everyday life. During your training you will learn:

- Medical-technical tasks such as changing dressings, administering medication, and taking blood samples
- Personal care, meal accompaniment, and simple nursing tasks
- To care for and accompany patients individually
- To recognize medical conditions and apply appropriate nursing interventions
- To work with medical devices and aids
- To communicate in a team and take responsibility

You can apply and deepen your school knowledge directly in everyday professional life with us.

What you bring:

- Completed compulsory schooling (at least Sek E)
- Interest in nursing, medicine, and working with elderly people
- Empathy and sense of responsibility
- Joy in learning – both theoretical and practical
- Team spirit and communication skills
- Willingness to work irregular hours (e.g., weekends, holidays)
- Careful and thoughtful working style
- Reliability and punctuality
