About the job
What you can achieve
- You are responsible for the strategic and operational management of the focus categories Beauty & OTC throughout the entire product lifecycle
- You plan and implement assortment and product changes in your categories, always keeping an eye on market trends and customer needs
- You conduct annual discussions with suppliers and negotiate promotions
- You plan and manage promotions and displays and ensure their correct implementation in pharmacies
- You analyse relevant key figures (sales, margin, rotation) and carry out profitability analyses at category and product level
- You work closely with purchasing, sales, marketing and pharmacies and act as the central interface for your categories
- You set sales and promotional prices and ensure competitive pricing
What you bring with you
- A further education in business administration or a comparable commercial training.
- Several years of proven experience in category management in a retail environment – ideally in the consumer goods or pharmacy sector
- You understand the central CM processes such as assortment strategy, assortment design, price management, promotion planning as well as supplier management and can apply these confidently
- A pronounced analytical mindset, structured working style as well as a good sense for trends and market mechanisms.
- Team spirit, strong communication skills and willingness to take responsibility.
- Fluent German and good French skills
