As Project Manager Innovation, you take overall responsibility for interdisciplinary innovation projects for mechanical and electromechanical injection devices from ideation to proof of concept. You coordinate various departments, are responsible for planning and budgeting, and keep an eye on goals, deadlines, and resources. With your pragmatic working style and project management expertise, you make project control efficient and support other project managers with your experience.

Your Main Tasks

• Plan, budget, and lead interdisciplinary innovation projects with responsibility for project goals, deadlines, resources, and costs
• Holistically manage projects considering desirability, feasibility, and viability
• Coordinate internal and external project staff from engineering, human factors, marketing, industrialisation, regulatory affairs, risk, and patents
• Identify, assess, and prioritise project risks and tasks and initiate appropriate measures
• Align project goals, progress, and upcoming decisions with relevant stakeholders up to senior management
• Provide professional support to engineers and project managers in planning and controlling their projects as a contact person and sparring partner
• Optimise planning bases, project plans, and budgeting processes as well as further develop efficient standards and best practices for project management

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in planning and managing projects in product development, preferably in front-end innovation and the medical technology sector
• Completed engineering degree at a university of applied sciences, ETH, or technical university, or a comparable technical education
• Strong understanding of complex, interdisciplinary project environments as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality and initiative
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented working style and the ability to set clear priorities even in a dynamic environment
• Enjoy supporting other project managers professionally and shaping cross-departmental collaboration
• German skills at least at C1 level and English skills at least at B2 level
