The Gasthof zum goldenen Kreuz is centrally located in the heart of the town of Frauenfeld. We have 60 seats in the gourmet à la carte restaurant and a lively and demanding banquet operation for up to 120 people. We offer our guests genuine hospitality in an upscale and stylish ambience. The goal is to delight guests with every visit and to convince them with consistent quality. With great passion and dedication, we ensure every day that our guests feel comfortable with us.

To support our kitchen brigade, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Junior Sous Chef (m/f) – 100%

In this role, you independently and conscientiously manage a kitchen station assigned to you. Ideally, you are deployable in various stations (Saucier, Entremetier or Garde Manger) and can also support the kitchen management with organisational tasks. You always apply your expertise with great enthusiasm and are willing to pass on your knowledge to our apprentices and support them in their training. Ensuring the consistency and quality of the dishes and implementing and monitoring the hygiene concept is a matter of course for you.

You are motivated and open to new things and are ready to take on responsibility. To cope with our sometimes hectic working day, you must be resilient and a team player.
