Job description

We are looking for a Landing Gear Design Engineer - F/H/Xto work on thedesign and development of fixed landing gear systems for civil aircraft. You will contribute from conceptual design through to prototype and testing phases, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and robust solutions.

🔥Your missions:

Support the Landing Gear Design Lead in developing and refining design concepts for civil aircraft landing gear systems

Perform conceptual and detailed design using Siemens NX

Collaborate with stress engineers and other design specialists to ensure structural integrity and compliance with certification requirements

Contribute to system integration and ensure that design solutions meet performance, weight, and manufacturability targets

Take ownership of specific subsystems within the landing gear, driving them from initial concept to final maturity

Support prototype build, testing, and validation activities

Provide technical input and steering in cross-functional design reviews

🎯Your profile:

You have a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent)

You have 2–5 years of relevant experience in landing gear design or aircraft structures (civil aviation preferred)

You are fluent in English (German is an advantage)

You have an expertise in Siemens NX

You have a good understanding of stress, loads, and system integration principles

You have experience with fixed landing gear systems

You are familiar with end-to-end design ownership (concept → prototype → certification)

You have strong communication and teamwork skills and you are able to work with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams
