For our Research & Development department, we are looking for a
Chemist/Specialist in the Safety Laboratory (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Determining safety-related basic data using various specialized devices such as reaction calorimeters, DSC, and adiabatic calorimeters
- Evaluating, interpreting, and documenting the corresponding measurement results
- Conducting various special tests to determine the mechanical and thermal sensitivity of substances and substance mixtures
- Advising on process safety questions and on defining appropriate measures for creating risk analyses
Your Profile
- Chemist with a university degree in organic or physical chemistry or related fields
- Very good theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of organic synthesis and physical chemistry
- Experience in process safety or willingness to specialize in this area long-term
- Good communication skills in German (written and spoken) and English (advantageous)
- Independent, precise, and clean working style
- Initiative, assertiveness, resilience, teamwork, and flexibility
