As part of our forward-looking succession planning, we are looking for an inspiring leader with drive, foresight and passion for safety. The current post holder will support you during the induction phase and ensure a structured handover. Afterwards, you will gradually take over overall responsibility for purchasing and actively drive its further development.

What to expect

In this versatile key position, you combine strategic thinking with a pronounced hands-on mentality and work closely with sales, production and product management. You will be in regular contact within the SpanSet Group and benefit from an international network.

• Responsibility for purchasing semi-finished products, components and commercial products
• Ensuring material availability taking into account quality, costs and deadlines
• Professional and personnel management as well as further development of the purchasing department
• Assistance in operational purchasing including master data maintenance
• Responsibility for the further development and optimisation of supply chain processes as well as participation in their digitalisation
• Active collaboration with Product Management regarding the further development of the product portfolio
• Creation and analysis of relevant key figures (KPIs)

What you bring

• A solid business education with a focus on purchasing (e.g. purchasing specialist FA, supply chain management or engineer with a business minor)
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in supplier management, negotiations and cost optimisation
• Willingness to take responsibility for a small team
• Technical understanding and enthusiasm for industrial products
• Confident appearance and strong communication skills
• Fluent German as well as good English skills, French an advantage
