Assistant to the Secretary-General
Department Secretariat DFG | 60 % | Chur
The Department of Finance and Municipalities (DFG) comprises six offices with a diverse range of activities and around 450 employees. The DFG takes on various cross-sectional tasks for other departments and offices and performs various special tasks. The Department Secretariat is the central staff unit in the DFG, with the units Secretary-General, Finance Secretariat and Digital Administration Staff Unit. The team supports the head of the department in all professional, legal, leadership-relevant and political matters. It ensures successful cooperation with the offices and other stakeholders as well as professional service delivery.
We are looking for due to the retirement of the previous post holder as of 1 February 2027 or by agreement, an Assistant to the Secretary-General for our team as effective support in the Secretary-General's office.
- Supporting the Secretary-General in all administrative as well as organisational matters and holiday cover for the assistant to the head of department (100% presence)
- Monitoring pending tasks, appointments and deadlines as well as coordinating meetings
- Ensuring reception and telephone service
- Preparing documents for committees, commissions and organisations
- Supporting the preparation of government proposals, departmental decrees, legislative and administrative procedures as well as projects
- Commercial basic training or equivalent education as well as several years of professional experience (especially leadership support), executive assistant with federal diploma an advantage
- Experience in data entry in the administrative programme CMI with very good IT skills (especially MS Office)
- Initiative and organisational talent
- Structured, independent and careful working method
- High social competence, flexibility, resilience and service-oriented action
- Fluent spoken and written German required, knowledge of another cantonal language an advantage
