These tasks will inspire you

As a project manager focusing on transport and warehouse logistics, you work at the interface between business and IT. You analyse and specify our business requirements. Your main activity involves accompanying the planned replacement of our core system together with the internal IT team and our external partners. Furthermore, you will be deployed in individual smaller projects. For this versatile and exciting position, we are looking for a committed and reliable personality.

• Analyse and implement our logistics requirements with a focus on transport and warehouse and other departments
• Support departments in creating requirement specifications for solution approaches, taking into account the technical system requirements
• Develop proposals for optimisation possibilities within the existing solution landscape, as well as participate in the evaluation of new applications
• Handle the project and subprojects as well as work packages; create the associated orders; evaluate suppliers and draft contracts; plan personnel deployment (define responsibilities, performance targets, personnel planning) for the project
• Recognise the impact of change requests, problems and altered framework conditions on the project
• Test, document and coordinate with internal and external partners
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and present the results

• Completed training in the logistics environment with a technical flair or in IT with a logistics flair
• Sound understanding of logistics processes and business management issues
• Quick comprehension and analytical thinking as well as independent and precise working style
• Curiosity and willingness to independently familiarise yourself with new topics and systems
• Affinity for data, data models and visualisation
• Ability to question existing processes and suggest meaningful improvements
• A personality who likes to take initiative independently in a dynamic environment
