Over 30 experts in the field of business succession support our clients in planning and selling their business within the family, to employees, and to third parties. We are looking to expand our team in Bern with a person who is passionate about the business succession of Swiss SMEs.

Associate Consultant Business Succession

What to expect with us

• You will work closely with experienced consultants and primarily accompany family-internal succession arrangements and business transfers to employees from A to Z. Situationally, you will actively participate in external company sales (M&A).
• You will support your colleagues in preparing business valuations and succession concepts as well as in buyer search, contract negotiations, financing clarifications, tax rulings, and contract drafting.
• You will show business owners how to best prepare themselves and their company financially for succession. In particular, you will highlight tax optimisation potential (e.g. salary-dividend ratio, dividend receipt/financial planning, and pension fund).
• You will accompany our consultants in client meetings, prepare these professionally, and process the results.

What you bring

• Enthusiasm for the world of SMEs
• Completed studies (or close to completion) or comparable education/training
• Initial professional experience in fiduciary services, finance, pensions, accounting, or controlling
• Analytical thinking and the ability to present complex contexts clearly
• Open and clear communication and enjoyment in contact with all stakeholders
• Regional ties and motivation to further develop the succession department in Bern
