At our headquarters in Zurich, we are looking to fill the position from January 2026 or by arrangement

Quality Assurance Manager (50 - 60 %)

You coordinate all activities and processes worldwide that are necessary to ensure product-related quality.

Your tasks:

• Handling quality assurance issues in procurement, production, trade, and sales
• Checking and creating specifications and declarations
• Contact with suppliers and employees worldwide in the areas of product quality, production, and packaging
• Aligning internal requirements with existing external standards and norms
• Keeping certificates from customers and suppliers up to date
• Preparation and support during audits
• Handling complaints and non-conforming products
• Managing packaging issues with customers, suppliers, and marketing partners
• Checking packaging compliance and adherence to internal and external standards
• Creating and improving SOPs in quality assurance and packaging
• Assisting with and improving quality management processes
• Conducting incoming goods inspections including sampling for the laboratory
• Conducting traceability and recall checks

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in food science or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in quality assurance with food and food packaging
• Very good German and English skills
• Confident use of MS Office
• High degree of personal responsibility and careful, precise, and conscientious working style
• Interest in sustainability, climate and marine protection, as well as affinity for food – ideally a passion for seafood and enthusiasm for Blueyou’s vision and mission
