The BSB (Bürgerspital Basel) is one of the largest social enterprises in the Basel area with around 1,600 employees. The Supported Living division offers people with support needs a variety of housing and support options. The focus is on self-determination, participation and individually tailored support. The offerings range from various communal living arrangements to outpatient and increasingly flexible support settings. Head: Supported Living
. You bear overall responsibility for the division with around 120 employees at 6 locations and directly manage eight managerial staff. Together with your management team, you ensure a high quality of services and further develop the division professionally, organisationally and economically. In doing so, you combine the social mission with professional corporate management and create conditions in which employees take responsibility and people with support needs can live as independently as possible. You actively contribute to the strategic and operational development of the Integration business field and are committed to cross-business field topics. This includes active networking and collaboration with authorities (disability services), cantons, associations and professional organisations.
You have a university degree in the social sector or a comparable qualification and bring several years of professional and leadership experience in disability services. You are familiar with the current developments in disability assistance as well as its financing and tariff structures. As a strong and appreciative leader, you communicate appropriately for the target audience and know how to motivate employees towards common goals. Entrepreneurial thinking, business management knowledge and enthusiasm for innovative development and change complete your profile.
