IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer 80-100 % (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Consulting and support of SME clients on technical questions regarding their IT landscape as well as developing suitable, practical infrastructure concepts.
Planning, coordination and implementation of IT projects including setup, maintenance and optimisation of server and virtualisation platforms.
Configuration and further development of ICT security solutions, especially firewalls, endpoint security and measures to protect data and networks.
Participation in the operation and expansion of the company’s own cloud platform as well as responsibility for the support and optimisation of the network infrastructure.
Handling complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support, conducting incident and problem management, and actively shaping new services.
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or a comparable technical qualification with practical experience in the ICT environment.
Sound knowledge of server infrastructures and virtualisation technologies as well as experience in operating and supporting complex IT environments.
Good expertise in IT security, firewall technologies, data security and network management.
Strong initiative and willingness to learn as well as interest in familiarising oneself with new technologies and varied tasks.
Independent and responsible working style, team spirit and communication skills as well as enjoyment in personal consulting and support of customers.
Workplace and residence: The position is not remote and requires on-site work. A residence in Switzerland, willingness to relocate to Switzerland or work as a cross-border commuter is required.
