What you will achieve with us
- Your main tasks lie in cleaning and laundry services: You will learn the professional cleaning of patient rooms and public areas as well as handling work clothing and laundry, from washing to ironing.
- In our kitchen, you prepare cold and hot dishes and help with the washing up.
- In the restaurant, you are responsible for ensuring that all food and drinks are available, prepare them and make sure everything looks tidy.
- With our flower fairy, you will learn how to arrange flowers, bouquets and decorations.
- In patient hospitality, you support our patients with various concerns to ensure they feel comfortable with us.

Barmelweid is the leading specialist and rehabilitation clinic in Northwestern Switzerland and the largest psychosomatic-psychotherapeutic clinic in Switzerland. The Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy has over 100 beds. A psychotherapeutic day clinic is also part of the offering. The Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy defines itself in its self-image as psychotherapeutically founded and at the same time a somatically integrating clinical institution. Close cooperation with somatic specialist disciplines of the Barmelweid Clinic is established, enabling the treatment of people with multimorbid somatic diseases as well as psychopathological disorders.
Barmelweid employs over 750 staff. It is located at around 800 metres altitude on a clearing in the Aargau Jura and is embedded in a unique environment with a nature park.
