Job Overview
We are looking for a chemical process engineer to join our team and support polymer scale-up production, as well as laboratory work, product characterization, and testing of the final membrane properties. This role is essential for the development of innovative membrane technologies for green hydrogen production.
Position Conditions
80-100% ; permanent position.
Work Location
Saint-Sulpice (VD); on site.
Start Date
April 1st, 2026, or as agreed.
Tasks and Responsabilities
- Produce polymer to support membrane production
- Scale-up polymer production
- Design and Implementation of new reactors
- Prepare and analyze polymers
- Perform mechanical and physicochemical tests for AEM
- Operate laboratory equipment and ensure proper maintenance
- Record and analyze experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility
- Contribute to the development of new polymer formulations and processing methods
- Comply with laboratory safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor or above degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- >3 years of industrial experience, preferably in polymers production, familiarity with production processes at both lab scale and pilot scale, including agitation, reactor, temperature and safety control, purification and waste treatment
- Knowledge in Mechanics and/or Electricity is a plus.
- Ability to work with a results-oriented approach.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a willingness to learn new production or measurement techniques.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge in English.
- Authorization to work in Switzerland.
