Job Description
The Department of Civil Law is advertising a full-time doctoral assistant position in the law of obligations, intended for a person wishing to write a doctoral thesis in the law of obligations.
Title and Required Qualifications
The candidate must hold a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Swiss law, obtained with very good results. Master’s students in law at the Faculty of the University of Geneva may also apply, provided they have already obtained 240 ECTS credits and that their diploma thesis is about to be completed;

The candidate will be hired on a two-year contract, renewable for two successive periods, respectively of two years and one year. The maximum duration of the assistant position is five years. The first year constitutes a probationary period, during which the employment relationship may be terminated with a three-month notice period to the end of a month.
