Purchasing Strategist with Leadership Qualities (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF91,000 - 107,900Our client is an established Swiss technology company specialising in the development and industrial production of high-quality components and complex system solutions. Role:
Do you want to combine your experience in international purchasing with leadership responsibility? In this position, you will shape the strategic procurement of technical components, strengthen international business relationships, and further develop your team. In addition to the strategic orientation, you will remain closely involved in the operational day-to-day business and support the further development of digital purchasing processes.
Responsibilities:
You take on the professional and personnel management of the purchasing team and support daily procurement as needed.
You monitor international purchasing markets, recognise economic developments, and identify new improvement potentials.
You design long-term procurement concepts for technical product groups and consider possible supply risks.
You strengthen collaboration with international suppliers and specifically develop existing business partnerships.
You ensure close coordination between product development, quality management, and purchasing.
You accompany the introduction and further development of ERP-supported purchasing processes and contribute your experience to their optimisation.
Qualifications:
You have successfully completed a technical vocational training. You have business management further education, for example as a purchasing manager with a federal diploma, purchasing specialist with a federal certificate, certified business economist HF, or a degree in industrial engineering.
You bring several years of experience in cross-border procurement of technical components.
Ideally, you have already taken on professional or personnel leadership responsibility.
You convince through initiative, independent action, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented working style.
You have fluent German and English negotiation skills.
