HPW Pharma AG is the Swiss parent company of the HeilpflanzenWohl Group, a growing corporate group in the field of OTC medicines and dietary supplements with a broad brand portfolio.

As we grow, the demands on a professional, group-wide procurement also increase. Therefore, we consolidate and professionalise our existing procurement activities and develop a scalable procurement function for the entire group.

For this, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual who not only purchases and negotiates but also creates structures, recognises potential, and sustainably shapes the strategic procurement of the HPW Group.

Your role

As Group Procurement Manager (m/f/d), you take on group-wide responsibility for our strategic procurement and report directly to the CFO.

You develop a cross-brand and cross-company sourcing strategy, consolidate purchasing volumes, negotiate with our CMOs and service providers, and create the processes, tools, and standards for a professional and scalable procurement.

In doing so, you work closely with our business units, supply chain, and management.

Your tasks

Strategic Group Procurement

• You are responsible for group-wide procurement across our brands and companies.
• You develop and implement a uniform, cross-brand sourcing strategy.
• You consolidate purchasing volumes and systematically identify synergy, scaling, and saving potentials.

Negotiation & Supplier Management

• You conduct strategic negotiations with CMOs/contract manufacturers and service providers regarding terms, contracts, and service levels.
• You further develop our supplier portfolio and establish structured supplier management including evaluation and development.
• You create long-term reliable partnerships while ensuring competitive purchasing conditions.

Processes, Standards & Digitalisation

• You professionalise our source-to-pay processes and continuously develop them further.
• You establish group-wide purchasing guidelines as well as clear approval and compliance standards.
• You take responsibility for the selection and implementation of suitable eProcurement/S2P solutions.
• You drive digitalisation and automation in procurement and establish meaningful procurement KPIs.

Planning & Forecasting

• You derive purchasing and demand forecasts from the sales planning of our business units.
• Together with the business units and supply chain, you coordinate requirements, inventories, and delivery times.
• You create transparency and a reliable data basis for purchasing decisions.

What you bring

What matters to us is your experience in strategic procurement and your ability not only to manage structures but to actively develop them further.

You should bring:

• Several years of experience in strategic procurement
• Proven success in negotiating with manufacturers and/or service providers
• Sound understanding of purchasing and sourcing processes
• Very good analytical understanding of forecasting, sales, and demand planning
• A structured, independent, and implementation-strong working style
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking and enjoyment in building structures
• Very good German and English skills

We would also be pleased about:

• Degree in business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Experience from pharma, OTC, FMCG, or the CMO/contract manufacturer environment
• Experience with source-to-pay/purchase-to-pay processes
• Experience in selecting or implementing purchasing or ERP tools
