Home Care Nurse in Psychiatry

For the organisation of home care in psychiatry NOMàD (fondation espace), based in Yverdon-Les-Bains, we are looking immediately or for a date to be agreed upon for a

 HES qualified nurse for home care in psychiatry at 80%

Your tasks

• Provide nursing care according to the current standards within the establishment
• Ensure effective and personalised communication with patients and their relatives
• Identify crisis situations experienced by patients and apply appropriate measures
• Offer active listening, supportive relationships and relational care
• Manage the administrative and logistical aspects of nursing care
• Work in a network around patients in complex psychiatric situations

 Your profile

• Completed HES qualified nurse training or equivalent training recognised by the CRS
• Minimum of 2 years confirmed experience in psychiatry
• Knowledge of and basic training in RAI HC or willingness to train (training paid)
• A warm, humourful and dynamic attitude
• Calm, patient and flexible in managing care situations
• Autonomous and responsible
• Enjoys taking on varied challenges in a very dynamic team
• Sense of discretion
• Good knowledge of the Swiss health/social system would be an asset
• Native French speaker or fluent in French
• Driving licence and vehicle essential
