What to expect

• Realising, defending and enforcing intellectual property rights
• Defending against claims from third-party intellectual property rights
• Contact person within the EMS Group for all patent and trademark-related matters
• Conducting patent and literature searches, especially to determine the state of the art for new applications or oppositions, regular monitoring of third-party protection rights and freedom-to-operate investigations
• Reviewing and drafting contracts in cooperation with the legal department

What you bring

• University degree from a university/technical university/fachhochschule in the field of chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, plastics technology
• Good knowledge in the field of polymer chemistry
• Experience in the field of patents is an advantage, also welcome are patent attorney candidates in training or patent attorneys
• Performance-oriented, innovative, communicative, structured, thorough and flexible
• Good German and English skills
