The Intercantonal University of Special Education (HfH) is the most important Swiss competence centre for special and remedial education with around 2,000 students. In teaching, research and services, we are committed to participation and educational equity. Our work combines scientific excellence with social responsibility and is oriented towards the needs of practice, politics and the education system.For the Rectorate staff, we are looking for an independent personality with advisory competence to further develop our quality development based on data, starting immediately or by arrangement.
In the Rectorate staff, you actively shape the quality development of the HfH. You further develop the quality management system and ensure that quality data, evaluation results and feedback systematically flow into decisions and concrete improvements. In doing so, you combine data collection, analysis, reporting, implementation and impact monitoring into a complete quality cycle. You advise the quality areas and organisational units and accompany cross-departmental development processes.
You take on a versatile specialist role with university-wide impact and scope for design at the interface of quality management, evaluation and organisational development. Together with the quality areas, organisational units and the Rectorate, you contribute to the effective use of quality data for the management and further development of the HfH.
Your area of responsibility
- You further develop the quality management system and the quality cycle of the HfH and clarify procedures, roles, responsibilities and follow-up processes
- You coordinate the quality forum and advise on development processes
- You are responsible for quality development in the Q area Governance and develop quality objectives, indicators and evaluation concepts together with the responsible organisational units
- You coordinate evaluation planning and support the responsible bodies in the development, implementation and review of improvement measures
- You support the analysis and further development of quality-relevant processes, including clarifying objectives, interfaces, responsibilities and metrics
- You further develop quality reporting and accompany the preparation of quality data in suitable digital formats and dashboards
- Within the available resources, you take on further tasks of the Rectorate staff, in particular educational monitoring, including relevant consultations, and the further development of knowledge management
Your profile
- You have a university degree at master’s level in a field relevant to the function
- You bring a solid qualification or proven experience in quality management or quality development
- You have further training in project management
- You have several years of experience in quality, university or organisational development, preferably in a university or educational environment
- You are familiar with the conception, implementation and evaluation of evaluations
- You have advisory competence and confidently moderate development processes with different stakeholders
- You work analytically and conceptually, act pragmatically and implementation-oriented at the same time, and can combine different perspectives into viable solutions
- Knowledge in process management, organisational development and digital reporting and evaluation tools, especially Power BI, is an advantage
